There has been a lot of moving and shaking in the fashion industry this month with high profile departures and appointments at some of our favourite brands. So let’s take a look at who’s going where!
-Coast managing director Margaret McDonald is leaving the UK chain to join US lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret as president.
-After a lot of speculation, it’s not Marc Jacobs or Emma Hill that takes the reigns at Coach, but former Loewe and Mulberry creative director Stuart Vevers who will be the man to head up its creative team.
- Delphine Arnault will leave her current position at Dior to take over as deputy general manager at Louis Vuitton. Arnault is the daughter of LVMH group chairman and chief executive Bernard Arnault.
- Former Kérastase International general manager Françoise Lehmann has been named general manager of Lancôme International. She will replace Youcef Nabi who resigned a few weeks ago.
-Maria Cristina “MC” González Noguera, global vice president of corporate communications for the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc.,will leave her post to take up a new role as assistant to President Obama and communications director to Michelle Obama.
We wait with bated breath for news on who will replace Emma Hill at Mulberry and just who will replace Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton!
