Supermodel Naomi Campbell is heading back to court over yet another alleged violent attack. The 43 year old, who famously completed community service dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana gown and stilettos, has been accused of attacking Italian paparazzo Gaetano Di Giovanni in 2009. The photographer claims that Campbell launched the attack after he took pictures of her with her billionaire ex-boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin.
Di Giovanni also told an Italian newspaper:
“First she hit with her bag, screaming at me and then she tried to slap me. I managed to avoid her – but her nails still got my eye. For a few seconds I could not see a thing. I could hear that her bodyguards and her boyfriend were trying to drag her away.”
Campbell denies the allegations and in a statement, her spokesman said: “Ms. Campbell was the victim of paparazzi harassment in Sicily.”
Campbell has a long history of violent outbursts. She was famously sentenced to attend anger-management classes in 1998, after striking her personal assistant Georgina Galanis with a mobile phone. By 2007, six other employees claimed Miss Campbell abused them. In 2010 her limousine driver claimed that she had punched and slapped him, again with a mobile phone, and her drug therapist has also accused Campbell of scratching her face during a counselling session.
Will her violent streak land her in prison? We’d love to see her work an orange jumpsuit…
